Albufeira

Located 1 hour from the airport Albufeira is a growing resort which has managed to retain its traditional aura. The idyllic setting contains whitewashed walls littering the hillside and cliff tops overlooking an expansive beach. The resort stretches some 10km including Praia dos Aveiros. Armacao de Pera is located about 1 hour from the airport and is famous for having one of the longest stretches of beach in the Algarve. The resort is modern and boasts some superb facilities. The beach is bordered by a tree lined promenade containing cafes, restaurants, bars and boutiques. Armacao de Pera is the ideal resort for people who want a taste of everything.

Montegordo

Montegordo is a typical Portuguese seaside town just over an hour's transfer from the airport. The beach is expansive and lined with a promenade offering a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. There are a number of traditional restaurants as well as bars and a casino. The Spanish border is only 3km away, which offers the perfect excuse for a day trip. The resort also offers water sports and the facilities you expect from the Algarve.
